Ford placed 3rd at the "River Rumble", winning all four matches by fall. In doing so he
avenged his sole loss of the tournament in the 3rd place match.
Josh Bowyer Eric Wellman Caleb Prather
Josh recorded his 100th career win in style scoring a quick fall. He was undefeated on
the day including winning a rematch of last year's state tournament first round...
soundly defeating his Eastview foe with ease. Two of Josh's opponents required ice
post match.
Eric went undefeated, scoring an 8 second fall on his way to earning the tournament's
"Outstanding Upperweight" award.
The Cable Guy won each match by fall and has become an absolute hammer on top.
Bret Romanzak
Bret won the 106 weight class at the Cave Spring Tournament, winning each match by
fall.
Caleb Prather Josh Bowyer Forrest Speake
Josh won all five matches at the Appalachian Duals including 3 falls, 14 -0, and 11-5.
Caleb earned a hard fought 5- 4 win over a state ranked opponent.
Forrest, likewise, defeated a state ranked opponent by fall after running up a 13- 0
score.
Anthony Rubilar
Anthony went 3 - 1 at the Rustburg Duals and showed good aggressiveness on the
mat.
Anthony Rubilar James Jackson
Anthony and James won their matches versus EC Glass with aggressive wrestling
both earning a fall.
Alex Cox Peyton Woodall
Peyton Woodall went 5-0 in the Falcon Duals at Fauquier, winning his weight class.
Alex Cox celebrated his birthday by beating a higher ranked opponent at the
Martinsville Duals, winning all his matches...helping his team win the tournament.
