Facts

Fact is something that is objectively verified. Therefore data that is factual can be called truthful. However,
while a fact can be truth, facts do not always indicate the truth. There is only one truth and many facts. Partial
facts can point to the truth or they can point toward a falsehood or belief that can be formed from having a
strong desire to prove a certain theory to be true. In his book "A Brief History of Time" Stephen Hawking tells
that over the decades scientists have tried to manipulate the facts of their findings as they tried to understand
the universe...trying to fit the models that they have come up with until they, in frustration, throw the model
away and create a new model based on the new information. Why do they behave this way? Because they are
trying to prove themselves right rather than trying to find the truth.
While science is a wonderful thing and have helped to make our lives better, also while enslaving us as well,
science and especially scientists have always been wrong. Day after year after decade after century after
millenium, we have proven to ourselves only one thing...the intelligence of today will be proven folly tomorrow.
The world is not flat, the sun does not revolve around the earth, and there is not an actual barrier at the speed
of sound that cannot be broken through.
We are humans who err and have massive pride, we think we are the smartest we have ever been...we think
space aliens built the pyramids because we cannot fathom how the ancients did such without computers and
M.I.T. graduates. People have always been as smart as they will ever be, many facts about our solar system
were discovered with the naked eye. Technology is the only thing that has changed over time (which technically
doesn't exist because it is simply a gauge of the earth's revolutions around the sun and itself...it doesn't apply
to anyone else).
So while I say bully for science and technology and all that it offers us, I will not be among those who worship it
and call it god. There is a God...a living God who created the universe and all that is in it...and guess what...He
knows your name.
At this juncture skeptics,scientists, atheists, and the like always moan and arrogantly point out intelligence
and science and say listen to their theories, look at their degrees, all the facts point to evolution. Again with
the facts. Do they have all the facts? No. Well, scientists have proven this fact and that fact. Like the fact that
they do not know what caused the big bang but will just accept that it occurred for some good "scientific"
reason. Sort of like building the roof of the house without building the foundation first.
Let's discuss partial facts for one moment. Suppose you found a torn up sports page with a partial box score
with these facts...Team A had 17 hits, no errors, struck out 20 batters, hit 3 home runs, and scored 11 runs.
Team B had only 3 hits, 2 errors, struck out only 3 batters. Based on the facts who would you say won the game?
Team A or Team B? A scientific answer would point to team A. However, when all the facts are in ,we find out
that Team B's three hits were all grand slam home runs on hit batsmen and walks. Final score of the game was
Team B 12 and Team A 11. Truth is always true, facts, not so much.
Now, evolution, the theory of, which is taught as fact in high schools and places of higher learning, yet the
name itself lends itself towards that maybe its not so true. If it were fact and were truth wouldn't it be called the
fact of evolution or the truth of evolution...alas, it is just a theory...an unproven theory at that.
An article in the National Geographic, which claimed that dinosaurs turned into birds, called birds perfectly
designed flying machines with their hollow bones, large breast muscles, and the like. Not just designed, but
perfectly designed. If they were designed then there has to be a designer, just as in the laws of nature or
physics, doesn't that mean there is a law giver...someone had to write the laws, come up with the designs. Are
we to believe that one day the professors at dinosaur M.I.T. stood at a chalk board in front of all the dinosaurs
and told them they needed to turn themselves into birds and this was what they needed to be doing?
1) Hollow out your bones. (2) develop those breast muscles (3) grow feathers (4) learn to fly.
Right...what are feathers? How do we hollow out our bones? Who can teach us how to fly? Which ones of us
will migrate and which ones will stay put? What's a migrate? It's like a headache only worse.
There was a TV program that showed how the fragile ecosystem worked together by following a young giraffe
who had died and a mere 10 days later was a pile of sun bleached bones. Big Bang and fragile ecosystem...let's
look at this together.
Lions, hyenas, vultures, flies, bacteria all played a part in the cleanup of this dead giraffe. Who told each of
these what their part was? Again, did the professors at animal M.I.T. say..."okay next item, dead animal
cleanup...vultures we're looking in your direction. Oh, come on man. Dead flesh...do you realize how smelly that
stuff gets after it's been out in the hot sun for a few days? C'mon man, give that to the eagles. No, no...the
eagles are more majestic they get fish and live animals. Look, you guys are hoodlums and thugs. You guys get
the dead carcasses. Aw man...what about our feathers, they'll get all messed up rooting around in them
innards. Well, just shave your heads and evolve to where you don't have any feathers on your head anymore."
Did you know that the common house fly has two sets of wings? They have a set of primary wings and smaller
secondary wings under that. The reason that they have two sets is because the larger or primary wings are not
strong enough to get the lift they need to fly, so the smaller wings stir up the air to allow the fly to fly. A
secondary system working with a primary system to achieve a common goal...that seems like engineering and
any engineering needs an engineer. If the house fly evolved why didn't it simply grow stronger wings?
There too many of these examples to list and the best part is National Geographic, proponents of the theory of
evolution, offer the most damning evidences to show that the theory of evolution makes absolutely no sense at
all.
So what is the truth? God created everything? Is that really it? Can you prove this? There is more evidence
of creation than there is of evolution. Let's look at creation.
God created the heavens and the earth. God created man...then woman from the rib of the man he had
created...Adam and Eve. They disobeyed God and instead of running around buck naked in a tropical paradise
with the bodies of Brad Pitt and Jaime Pressley, playing and frolicking with the animals, we live in this world of
work and worry.    God created man in his image...does this mean God looks like us? No, God is a spirit. An
image, as in the mirror, is reversed. So, God created things that were to be(should be, need to be) dependant
on him...man creates things that he is dependant on. God became sorry that he created man and destroyed
everything except a family and a few animals of each kind. Is there physical evidence of this? Yes...Grand
Canyon and dinosaur fossils that are commonly found in positions of distress...drowning can be distressful.
Jesus Christ claimed to be the Son of God. He is the single most controversial figure in the history of human
kind. Yet this man owned no property, held no office, led no army, or rebellion, and wrote no books. Now
some people say he was a prophet, the muslims believe such, some say he was just a good man with good
teachings. The Man claimed to be the Son of God. He was either who He said He was or He was a complete
lunatic.
The scriptures say that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God(Rom. 3:23). Jesus said..."I am the
way, and the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me." (Jn. 14:6) "I am the resurrection
and the life...he who believes in Me will live even if He dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will
never die." (Jn. 11:25-26).
Do you have to be "good" to get into heaven? No...the thief,rightly sentenced, on the cross right next to
Jesus simply professed belief that He was who He said He was. Jesus response to him, "Truly I say to you,
today you shall be with me in Paradise." (Lk. 23:43)
That's it and that's all...believe - repent - live a changed Christlike life. Seems fairly simple, maybe too simple.
Which is perhaps the trip-up point for many people who feel like they need to do something...to earn there way
into heaven. Heaven can't be bought, bartered, traded, or earned...it's simply a free ticket for those who
believe.
Seems reassuring that the creator of the universe would take the form of His creation, leave heaven, live in
this fallen world, in a fleshly fallen body(after having been in a perfect heavenly body - in heaven) and
then allow himself to be beaten more severely than we can imagine, and to be crucified, probably the most
cruel way one could be killed...for mankind...out of love.
But do not let anyone say that the creator was killed by the creation...Jew, Roman, or otherwise. He gave up
His Spirit.(Mt. 27:50) Then he rose again on the 3rd Day...sort of like He, and the many prophets before him, said
He would.
These things are simply encouragements for you discover the truth for yourself, make up your own mind. The
physical life is temporary, the spiritual life is forever, and that's a mighty long time, but I'm here to tell you, now
that you exist, you are eternal. You are going to be somewhere forever and on into eternity. The only question
is where...with reward, or with punishment. The single most important thing anyone can do is find out what the
truth is...because you are betting your life on it.

For the Word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the
power of God. -- Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God
made foolish the wisdom of the world? -- Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness
of God is stronger than men. -- But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God
has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the strong. -- so that no man may boast. -- So that your faith
would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God. -- 1 Corinthians --

Who by Faith conquered Kingdoms...(Heb. 11:33)...from weakness were made strong...(Heb. 11:34)
All things are possible for him who believes. With people it is impossible, but not with God...for all things are
possible with God. -- Mark --
Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for his friends. -- John 15:13 --
You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures shall be saved. -- Mark 13:13 --
If the world hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you. -- John 15:18 --
Rejoice and be glad for your reward in heaven is great. -- Matthew 5:12 --
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and give His life a ransom for many. -- Mark --
Having this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus who, although He existed in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond servant,
being made in the likeness of men. Being found in the appearance of man, He humbled Himself by becoming
obedient to the point of death...even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and
bestowed upon Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of
those who are on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father. -- Philippians 2:5-11 --
If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever
wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he is one who will save it. For what is a
man profited if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My
Words the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes into His glory, and the glory of the Father and the
holy angels. -- Luke 9:23-26 --
If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and
sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. Whoever does not carry his own cross and come
after Me cannot be My disciple. -- Luke 14:26-27 --
And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms for My
name's sake, will receive many times much and will inherit eternal life. -- Mathew 19:29 --
Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for the sake of
the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times as much at this time and in the age to come, eternal life.

If you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any
should perish, but for all to come to repentance. -- Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

Truly I say to you, if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain move from here to there,
and it will move...and nothing will be impossible to you. -- Matthew 17:21
In all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in your
speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about
us. -- Titus 2:7,8 --
For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat...I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink...I was a
stranger and you invited Me in...naked and you clothed Me...I was sick and you visited Me...I was in prison and
you came to Me. The King will answer and say unto them, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers
of mine, even to the least of them , you did it to me. -- Matthew 25:35, 36, 40 --
In My Father's house are many dwelling places...if it were not so, I would have told you...for I go to prepare a
place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am,
there you may be also.
What is Heaven? It is the place reserved for those whose name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Jesus
called it Paradise. A place will there will be no sorrow, no pain, and no worry. There will be such a perfect joy
that we cannot imagine. A place of unimaginable beauty...an eternity in the presence of God. A place where the
most precious gems are it's very foundation...having the brilliance of crystal clear jasper...it's streets, gold, so
pure that it is like transparent glass...gates made of a single pearl.

What is Hell (The lake of fire)? It is a place of eternal punishment designed for the Devil a.k.a. Satan, Lucifer,
and the angels that chose to follow in the rebellion(1/3 of the angels in heaven). But now also the place for
those who reject the risen Savior...whose names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
What is Hell like? It is described as a bottomless pit..the lake of fire. The scripture calls it the outer darkness,
place of weeping and gnashing of teeth...where the worm does not die. It is eternal separation from God...an
eternity of joyless hopelessness.
Try and imagination eternity...really try. You are eternal...it is just a matter of where you will spend it.

Who is the devil? - a.k.a. Satan, Lucifer - He began as Lucifer, the most beautiful and prominent of all the
angels of heaven. He held the keys to the throne room of God. Eventually, due to his beauty and magnificence,
his status over all the angels, he became prideful and decided that he wanted to be God...to be worshipped.
He was able to convince 1/3 of the angels of heaven that he was going to be able to overthrow their creator
and he would set himself up as God for all to bow to. The fact that he was able to convince so many angels to
rebel speaks to his aura and ability to persuade others to believe his insanity. It also says that not even the
angels of heaven are bound beyond their will to worship and serve the Almighty.
The rebellion did not take long...Jesus was quoted as saying..."I was watching Satan fall from heaven like
lightning." He who was the most beautiful, only perfect creation of God, is now grotesque and hideous and is
bent on vengeance. Though the takeover of heaven is over, the spiritual war is still on. It is a war for your
eternity. God gives you the simple truth and the devil entices you with elaborate lies and pleasures.

Pleasure v. Joy - Most people do not realize the difference between the two, but it is simple. God offers us not
only joy, but perfect joy...for an eternity. The devil offers us pleasure, often times degrading pleasure for
extremely brief periods of time. For joy feeds us and most times pleasure consumes us...like a drug...meaning
more and more often and with less and less effect to the point that all time and resources are spent trying to
remain in the euphoric state of pleasure. Joy is usually paid for and then received, especially in the case of
perfect joy in heaven, and sometimes it is a heavy toll to be sure. Pleasure by it's very nature is received first
and then the bill comes...and it is usually steep and unpayable...that's when the guy who breaks legs comes to
visit.
Do not believe the elaborate lies of the devil, whose sole aim is for you to suffer his fate
with him, over the simple truth of God, who loves you enough to have sacrificed His only
begotten Son so you do not have to die.
