-- -----------------Forest Youth Wrestling goals... --1) Have fun and love wrestling --2) Learn techniques that will succeed at the most elite levels --3) Effort and progress are what Forest Youth coaches are looking for...winning, ---- although a goal, is not the ultimate goal...learning and progressing is. The winning -----will come if this is achieved. Youth wrestling is only a preparation for loftier goals... ---- such as high school state champion, or 2x state champion, or 3x state champion,or 4x ---- state champion, or undefeated 4x state champion, or undefeated 4x state champion -----who gets a scholarship to the University of Minnesota...or Liberty University. ----What we need for this page is pictures. We need a parent/or parents to volunteer to --take pictures of our guys as they wrestle and when they get their hand raised after a --win. Barry Cox has done a great job with middle school and varsity taking a lot of --pictures and getting some really great action shots and moments of levity (see --Brandon winking at camera as he was pinning Kierson of Powatan). Also we need --parents to help keep track of wins, pins, and placing at each tournament so we can --keep better track and post the results here. |
